'Rio Red' Ruellia - Ruellia elegans
A fabulous 12" tall mounding ruellia that produces clusters of luscious 1" tomato-red, big-lipped flowers perched on top of 6" wand-like stems. 'Rio Red' forms a 12"x 24" soft green mound of semi-fuzzy foliage with a never ending display of flowers just calling to hummingbirds & butterflies! It grows in sun or light shade & moist, well drained soils.
